You may have accidentally bumped into some double-sided tape, or somebody, such as a young child, may have stuck a piece of double-sided tape onto a clothing item that you own. As with any decal or piece of tape, you may not be able to simply peel the piece of double-sided tape from the clothing item. Use caution when attempting to remove the double-sided tape from clothes so that you do not damage the clothing item.

Turn the blow dryer onto medium heat.

Direct the nozzle of the blow dryer at the tape. The nozzle should be a couple of inches away from the tape.

Leave the blow dryer over the tape for roughly one minute. Part, if not all of the tape, should lift off the clothing item.

Pull the rest of the tape off the clothing item. Do so gently in order to prevent damaging the clothing item.

Soak a sponge or cloth in white vinegar.

Blot the entire piece of double-sided tape for a minute or so. The tape should start to lift off the clothing item.

Peel one end of the tape with your finger.

Gently pull the piece of tape off the clothing item.
