Derma Roller Instructions

The Derma Roller helps smooth out wrinkles and increase the firmness of your skin. This device stimulates the production of collagen and elastin in your skin, creating a more youthful appearance. With the Derma Roller, stretch marks, wrinkles, cellulite and scars become less visible. These skin imperfections are caused by low levels of collagen, which the Derma Roller helps boost significantly. Use the Derma Roller for stretch marks, acne scars, wrinkles, anti-ageing, hair restoration, scar removal and cellulite.

  1. 1

Wash hands thoroughly and dry with a clean towel. Wash all other areas of your face and body where you want to apply the Derma Roller.

  2. 2

Disinfect the area or table where you will be using the Derma Roller. Arrange all of the items on the clean surface. Remove the Derma Roller from its tube and take off the plastic cap.

  3. 3

Decide on the method you want to use. The first method consists of numbing the skin with Topicaine gel before rolling the Derma Roller aggressively on the area once a week. The second method can be used up to 5 times a week, and consists of applying the Derma Roller with much lighter pressure. Use of the Derma Roller is not painful and should not cause bleeding, but it does tickle gently.

  4. 4

Apply the Topicaine gel to the areas you want to treat with the Derma Roller. Wipe off excess gel. Skip this step if you prefer to do the second method.

  5. 5

Roll the Derma Roller several times over the areas of your face or body you want to rejuvenate. The Derma Roller instructions suggest rolling 4 times vertically, horizontally and down each diagonal applying a gentle pressure. If you are doing the once-a-week method using the numbing gel, press harder.

  6. 6

Wash the areas where you used the Derma Roller with cold water. Dry your skin and apply a moisturising face or body cream, preferably one with vitamins such as C and E. If you used the Topicaine gel, apply an antibacterial cream first and then the nourishing moisturiser.

  7. 7

Wash hair and dry with a clean towel if using Derma Roller for hair loss, thinning hair or grey hair. Massage 1ml of 5% Minoxidil onto balding areas. Roll the Derma Roller over the scalp in one direction only instead of back and forth. If the scalp flakes, rub the dead skin away and wash hair with shampoo. Use only once a day, up to 5 times a week.

  8. 8

Rinse off the Derma Roller under hot water. If you used it with the Topicaine gel, place it head-down in a glass half full of disinfectant for 30 minutes to an hour. If using without the Topicaine gel, disinfect the Derma Roller once a week. Shake the Derma Roller after disinfecting to remove excess liquid and dry on a clean towel. Do not put it away while wet. When dry, replace the plastic cap and store it in the provided plastic tube.
