How Do I Pay for an eBay Item in England With US Dollars?
Currency conversion on eBay is easy. (gavel image by Cora Reed from Fotolia.com)

The eBay auction site lists items from all over the globe and in most cases, the currency exchanged for items is the US Dollar (USD). However, European sellers have the option to list their items in Great Britain Pounds (GBP). To purchase items from the United Kingdom that are listed with GBP pricing, the winning bid must be converted from USD to GBP with a currency converter. Several free currency converters are available on the Web. Note that currency conversion will only need to be applied for items purchased with money orders or checks. PayPal and major credit card companies will automatically convert the currency prior to applying the charge to the account.
