The default font on Blackberry phones is determined by the current theme that is set on the phone. A Blackberry theme is a combination of different visual components such as a background, font and colour scheme that gives the screen and menus a custom look. The font cannot be individually changed. Instead when a new theme is chosen, the font is automatically changed to the font associated with the selected theme.
