Ensure you're in an area with a free Wi-Fi hot spot if you aren't using your home wireless network.
Tap the "WLAN" icon near the bottom of the screen using your Axim's stylus. This icon will look like broken signal bars due to the fact that your Axim is not yet connected to a network.
Open the Dell WLAN Utility after the Settings menu appears.
Tap the "Turn On" button under the "Power" heading to turn on your Axim's wireless radio.
Select "The Internet" when the "New Network Detected" box appears. Tap "Connect" to connect to the wireless network. If prompted, enter your wireless network's WEP or WPA key.
Check your Axim's screen to see whether the WLAN icon near the bottom of the screen shows a connected status. If you are connected to a wireless network, the icon will now show full green bars.
