Set the new fill valve through the hole in the bottom of your Toto tank that held the previous supply valve. Make sure to place the black fill valve gasket between the tank and the base of the valve, creating a watertight seal.
Place the small plastic hose leading from the top of the supply valve into the opening on the top of the flush valve.
Place the washer over the threaded part of the fill valve on the underside of the toilet tank and thread the plastic locking nut onto this threaded piece, securing the fill valve in place.
Thread your toilet's supply line onto the threaded piece that you just screwed the plastic locking nut onto. You will need a pair of channel locks or a plumber's wrench to tighten the nut.
