When listening to music or movies on your laptop, the sound quality may not be as good as you would like for it to be. Right-click on the volume (speaker) icon that is located in your system tray.
Select the option to "Open Volume Mixer."
Click and hold down your left mouse button over the volume bar. While continuing to hold down your mouse button, drag the volume bar upwards. The higher you drag the volume bar, the louder your laptop will be.
Click the red "X" that is located in the top right corner to close out of the Volume Mixer window.
Connect external speakers to your laptop if you are still unsatisfied with the volume of the built-in speakers. You can purchase USB speakers and connect them to the USB port of your laptop. You can also purchase external speakers that have an "Output" cable. Connect the output cable to the output jack of your laptop.
