Set the backdrop for the centrepiece with a bright white, silvery or icy-blue tablecloth or table runner. Add sparkle to the fabric with a sprinkle of silver glitter.
Spread newspapers or tarp in a well-ventilated area, then place small real or faux tree branches on covered surface and spray paint them white to create a snow-covered look. Cover an assortment of pinecones with shiny silver paint for an icy effect.
Choose a tall polished silver vase featuring a wide mouth. Place floral foam in the bottom of the vase and insert the painted branches into it to resemble a small tree. Fill the vase with white jelly beans or polished stones, which will help to secure the branches into place.
Place small white bird decorations onto the branches using craft wire. You can also choose decorative birds with metal clips. Hang small silver balls and glass icicle-shaped ornaments from the branches.
Surround the tree centrepiece with small white tea light candles in clear glass holders. Display evergreen sprigs, twigs of red berries and the silver pinecones around the centerpeice to add a pop of fresh colour.
