How to Disable the Trackpad of a Lenovo Laptop

When you use an external mouse with your Lenovo laptop computer, you may want to disable the built-in trackpad on the computer so that you don't accidentally bump it with your hands while you use the computer. If so, or if you want to disable it for another reason, you can do so by altering the properties of the mouse in the operating system.

    Log in to Windows on your Lenovo laptop.

    Press the "Fn" key and the "F8" key on your laptop at the same time.

    Click on "UltraNav."
