How to Perform an All-Clear Reset on a Casio Data Bank Watch

Updated November 21, 2016

Data bank watches by the Casio Watch Company offer users the ability to store contact, calendar and e-data information as well as monitor the current date and time. Available for both men and women, the watches are offered in limited edition quantities at most department stores, sports equipment stores or watch stores. While the watches can store up to 300 pages of data, individuals may wish to clear all the data from the watch for various reasons. Performing an all-clear reset of a Casio data bank watch takes a few steps.

Insert a small tool, such as the flat edge of a small screwdriver, into the indent on the side of the watch to loosen and remove the case back of the watch.

Make sure the word “Open” appears on the watch face. If the word “Close” appears on the watch face, replace the case back on the watch, wait for five minutes and then attempt to remove it again.

Replace the watch battery with a new battery. Touch the alternating current (AC) contact and the plus (+) side of the battery with a metallic instrument, such as tweezers.

Put the case back on the watch. Press the button located on the top left-hand side of the watch to clear the remaining data in the watch.

Reset the watch data as desired.
