In large areas such as schools, buildings, and parks, one useful way to make sure all authorised personnel can communicate with each other is to use walkie talkie 2-way radios such as the Motorola Radius CP200. However, if you are distributing new radios for others to use, the radios must be programmed to the proper channel first.

Instructions

  1. 1

Rotate the "On/Off" dial at the top of the watch to turn on the walkie-talkie.

  2. 2

Set the volume of the walkie-talkie to your personal preference using the "On/Off" dial.

  3. 3

Rotate the Channel selector knob on the top of the radio (Next to the On/Off knob) to the channel your radio needs to be programmed to. Consult your supervisor or radio technician for the proper channel if you are unsure.
