Internet filtering is normally a helpful tool. It helps block pop-ups and keeps sites from loading material onto the user's computer. However, Internet filtering does have drawbacks. Sometimes the user desires to view the pop-up window but can't when the filtering is enabled, and other times filtering blocks sites completely. But there are ways to disable and defeat Internet filtering.

Click the "Start" button on the desktop.
Select "Control Panel," double-click "Internet Options," then select the "Privacy" tab.
Drag the slider bar all the way down to allow more viewable content and disable Internet filtering.
Uncheck the box next to "Block pop-ups." Or, if only pop-ups from a certain website are desired, click "Settings" and type the address in the "Address of websites to allow."
