How to Bypass Wireless Internet

Wireless Internet is useful in many situations. However, if your wireless network card is broken, your computer won't access the wireless network, or you wish to bypass wireless Internet for some other reason, it can be easily done. Bypassing wireless Internet is quick and easy, and you can still get online.

    Turn your wireless switch "Off" if you have one on your computer. Most laptops have a switch labelled "Internet" or a switch with a picture of an Internet tower. If you turn this off, your computer will not search for a wireless signal.

    Right click on "Networks" and then right click on "Wireless Networks." Choose "Disable" to disable your wireless Internet connection.

  3. 3

    Plug an Ethernet cable into the back of your computer, and plug the other end into a modem or router currently connected to the Internet. This will provide you with a wired Internet connection. You are now online!
