Updated February 21, 2017

Your NTL digital television set-top box not only receives television programming, but also an array of music channels. Your set-top box is equipped with a remote control and ports for connecting a VCR and a surround-sound system to the device. When problems arise, including the set-top box not responding when you press a button on the device's remote control or one or more channels not displaying, you can reset your NTL digital box and return the device to a working state.

Turn off your NTL digital box.

Unplug the device's power cable from the electrical socket.

Wait 15 seconds.

Plug the NTL digital box's power cable into the electrical socket.

Turn on the set-top box. Use the "Channel" buttons on the device's remote control to test and use the digital box.

If you are still experiencing problems with your NTL digital set-top box, contact your digital television service provider to arrange for a technician to come out and troubleshoot/repair your digital television connection and box.
