  1. 1

Rub cooking oil onto the surface of a new piece of Pampered Chef stoneware for the first few uses. Over time, the stoneware will cure, which creates a non-stick surface.

  2. 2

Cover your stoneware 2/3 of the way with food when cooking. Less food coverage will result in damage to the stoneware. Make sure the food is distributed evenly. Do not place frozen foods on the stoneware.

  3. 3

Place your Pampered Chef stoneware with the prepared food in a preheated oven. Always wait until the oven has preheated first, rather than placing your Pampered Chef stoneware in the oven to preheat.

  4. 4

Add one to two more minutes of bake time to foods with a normal cooking time of under 12 minutes.

  5. 5

Scrape excess foods off your Pampered Chef stoneware after cooking. Wash by hand with a plastic mesh scrubber and plain water. Avoid using soap or detergent on your stoneware and do not put it in the dishwasher.
