- 1 tbsp ammonia
- Clean towel

Test an inconspicuous area on the carpet to test for colour fastness. Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to the hidden area to ensure that it will not damage the carpet.
Dampen a washcloth with rubbing alcohol. Blot the stamp pad ink stain with the dampened washcloth. Apply slight pressure while blotting.
Rinse out the washcloth with water.
Dampen the cloth with more rubbing alcohol. Continue to blot the area until the washcloth absorbs and removes the stamp pad ink.
Prepare a cleaning solution for the stain. Combine 1 qt. of warm water with ½ tsp of dish-washing detergent and 1 tbsp of ammonia.
Test an inconspicuous area on the clothing with the cleaning solution to ensure that it will not harm the fabric of the clothing. Place a clean towel underneath the stain. Soak a washcloth in the cleaning solution and blot the stain. Allow the solution to set on the stain for 30 minutes.
Rinse the stained area with a clean washcloth dampened with warm water. If the stain remains, use white vinegar to remove it.
Add 1 qt. of water with 1 tbsp of white vinegar. Soak the stain in the solution for one hour. Rinse the area with a clean, wet washcloth. Test a small inconspicuous area first to ensure that you do not ruin the clothing.
Launder the clothing according to the care label. Hang the clothing to dry instead of placing it in the dryer. If the ink stain remains, repeat the process until you remove it completely.
