How to Use My RCI Points on Hotels
Use your RCI points to stay at resorts. (hotel image by jcpjr from

When you join RCI you get a designated amount of points per year that you can use toward travel expenses, like car rental and airline ticket, or you can use the points to stay at hotels around the world. If you do not use all your points one year, those points will carry over to the next year. You can stay at your home RCI resort, where you became an RCI member, or at other RCI resorts.

  1. 1

Log in to your RCI account. Once you have entered your user name and password, click on "Points Sign In." Click on the link under "Reference" for a shortcut to the login page.

  2. 2

Click on "Resort Directory" to find out where you would like to stay and if you have enough points. RCI has three hotel class levels: Standard Resort, RCI Silver Crown Resort, and RCI Gold Crown Resort. You can also choose the size of your room: hotel/suite, one bedroom, two bedroom, or three-plus bedroom. Not every hotel has each bedroom size. Click on "Available Units" to see which rooms are available during your desired travel dates.

  3. 3

Book your hotel reservation on line in your RCI account after you select the hotel you want. Or call a RCI Points representative at 1-(877) 968-7476 to book your reservation over the phone.

  4. 4

Pay the transaction fee with a credit card. See "Resources" for a list of current booking fees.
