How to Put a Strap on an Olympus 565 Camera
Attach a strap to your digital camera. (camera back side image by Sandra Henderson from Fotolia.com)

The Olympus 565, a digital camera designed for ease of use, takes high-resolution images. You may not want to constantly hold onto the camera with both hands, however, so it's sensible to attach a strap to the digital camera. This allows you to slide your hand through the strap and tighten it, giving you the peace of mind that your camera is safe even if you let go of it.

Instructions

  1. 1

Slide the free end of the camera strap through the small metal loop found on the back right side of the camera (near the capture button).

  2. 2

Pull the strap through the metal loop until it reaches the halfway point of the strap.

  3. 3

Insert the free end of the strap into the small, plastic clamp found on the other side of the strap. This tightens the strap into a loop.

  4. 4

Pull the strap through the clamp to secure the strap on the camera.
