How to Upload a SD Card Into a Toshiba Laptop

Updated July 19, 2017

Select Toshiba laptops come with built-in SD card readers, which can be used to read the contents of any SD card. If your laptop does not come with an SD card reader, you can use a USB SD card reader. USB SD card readers are small, portable dangles that do not need to be installed and will work on any computer with an available USB port.

Insert the SD card into the SD card port. Wait until your computer recognises the card.

Click the "Start" icon in the Windows taskbar. Click "My Computer."

Double-click "Removable Disk [F:]" This will open the root storage directory that contains all of the files on the SD card. From here, you can drag-and-drop files from the SD card onto your computer.
