How to Clean Dog Urine From a Laminate Floor

Updated November 21, 2016

Laminate flooring uses layers that create a smooth surface. If a dog has an accident on laminate floor, it can leave a permanent stain based on the colour and finish of the laminate floor. To get the odour of dog urine out of your floor, use white vinegar, which also cleans the area.

Wipe up as much urine as you can with a paper towel.

Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar.

Spray the urine stain with the spray bottle so a good amount of white vinegar covers the area.

Rub a soft cloth in a circular motion over the white vinegar.

Dampen another cloth with warm water and use it to clean off the vinegar.

Blot a paper towel over the area to dry.

Things You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • 2 cloths
  • Spray bottle
  • Warm water
  • Paper towel
