A PlayStation 2 gaming console connects to a digital TV with three audio-video cables. The plug on the other end of the cables is a unique connector that fits on the jack on a PlayStation 2. The three colour-coded cables terminate in composite 1/4-inch plugs that fit standard AV jacks on the back of digital TV sets. All equipment needed for the hookup comes with the PS2. The connection should take less than 10 minutes.
