How to Reset an HP PSC 1400 After Changing the Ink Cartridge

After changing the ink cartridge in your HP PSC 1400 series printer, you should be able to print normally. Once you install a new print cartridge, the cartridge will be aligned automatically. However, if you do experience error messages or distorted prints, try resetting the printer.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Press the “On/Resume” button to turn off the printer.

    Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.

  3. 3

    Plug the power cord back into the printer.

  4. 4

    Press the “On/Resume” button to power on the printer. The printer will now be reset.
