How to Remove VW Golf Speaker Covers

The Volkswagen Golf has been, and remains to be, one of the most popular car models created. Removing the speaker covers from a VW Golf will give direct access to the speaker and speaker wires. This allows you the ability to remove, adjust or upgrade the speakers.

Things you need

  • Flathead screwdriver
  • Electrical tape
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel the tape out and wrap it around the tip of the screwdriver.

  2. 2

    Wedge the screwdriver into the outer gap of the speaker cover.

  3. 3

    Pry the speaker cover out little by little going around the whole cover. Once the last tab is pried open the cover will pop out, leaving the speaker exposed.

  4. 4

    Repeat the exact same process on the remaining three speakers.
