Instructions

  1. 1

Put the thumb and index finger of one hand through the middle of one rubber band so that the rubber band goes around both fingers. Put the second rubber band around the thumb and index finger of your other hand in the same manner. Keep the rubber bands around your fingers until the final step.

  2. 2

With one hand, using your thumb and index finger, pinch the rubber band that is on the other hand and do not let go.

  3. 3

With the hand whose rubber band is being pinched, using your thumb and index finger, pinch the other hand's rubber band and do not let go. Do not link your fingers together.

  4. 4

While each hand is pinching the other hand's rubber band, pull your hands apart slowly. The two rubber bands will slip off your fingers and will be linked together. Keep pulling until you're satisfied with how tight the knot linking the rubber bands is.

Tips and warnings

  • If you pull too hard on your rubber bands, they could snap and inflict pain on you or anyone nearby.
