How to Use a Proxy Server to Unblock Websites

When you are at work or at school, surfing the web, you may find some sites blocked by the network. These sites may include entertainment and social media sites. Although proxy servers allow for a way around some of the blocking your network does, be forewarned that circumventing these security measures may land you in some hot water with your school administration or with your employer.

Scroll through the list on the site that you chose in Step 2. Click on the link of the proxy server site that you want to use. There is typically no difference between proxy server sites since they perform basically the same task.

Enter the URL of the site you want to unblock in the field provided on the proxy server site. Hit the "Go" button that is next to the field.
