Adobe Photoshop CS3 Portable is a smaller version than the popular Adobe Photoshop CS3. It is small so you can install the program onto a portable device, such as a USB flash drive. Having the program on a USB flash drive allows you to run the software on any computer that has a USB port. This also saves you room on the hard drive because you are installing the software onto the USB drive and not the hard drive.

Connect the USB flash drive to one of the available USB ports on the computer.

Insert the Adobe Photoshop CS3 installation CD into the computer. The installation wizard will appear on your screen.

Click "Next," then read through and accept the license agreement. When you are asked for the product key, look in the packaging of the product. A large number is printed onto a cardboard slip. Type in this number and select "Next."

Click "Browse" when shown the installation location. Select the USB flash drive as the location and click "OK." Click "Next" again, followed by "Install" and Adobe Photoshop CS3 is installed onto the flash drive.

Open "My Computer" (or "Computer") and double-click the removable device icon. This opens a window with all the content currently installed on the flash drive. Double-click the Adobe Photoshop CS3 icon and the software loads onto the computer.
