  1. 1

Squeeze a dot of hot glue onto the bottom lip of one of the seashells. The bottom lip is the half-hinge side of the shell with the straight edge.

  2. 2

Connect a second seashell to the glued edge, making sure to connect the straight-edged sides together.

  3. 3

Squeeze a small amount of glue on the straight-edged bottom of another shell, and attach it to the side of the two connected shells. This creates a three-petaled effect with the shells.

  4. 4

Allow the shell-flower to dry for approximately 10 minutes while you twist three green pipe-cleaners together. Leave one end of the twisted pipe-cleaners open, fraying out each end.

  5. 5

Squeeze a dot of glue onto the end of each of the pipe cleaners at the end of the twist.

  6. 6

Attach the glued ends to the seashells. Make sure each pipe cleaner end is glued to the back of each of the seashells that are glued together.

  7. 7

Squeeze a dot of glue onto the back of a gem of your choice and place it in the centre of the three glued seashells.

  8. 8

Allow the seashell flower to dry for approximately 10 minutes.

  9. 9

Paint the inner parts of the seashells a colour of your choice so they resemble colourful flower petals.
