The iPhone 3G allows you to import contacts directly from your SIM card in a matter of seconds. But first you must install a free application onto your iPhone 3G.

    Select the "App Store" tab on your iPhone 3G. After the store loads, type "Cydia" into the search. When the Cydia app appears click the "Download" option to download the app directly to your phone.

    Launch "Cydia" by pressing the icon on the iPhone 3G screen. Once the app loads select "Manage" followed by "Sources, Edit, Add" and type in "http://test.beyouriphone.com/."

    Press "Add Source" and choose "Done."

    Select "BeYouriPhone" from the display screen and choose "SIManager." Press "Install" followed by "Confirm" and the SIManger app installs to your phone.

    Shut down your iPhone 3G (hold down the top button for a few seconds, then slide your finger across the top of the screen to turn it off). Reboot the iPhone and launch "SIManager." Select "Write to SIM" and all of your contacts are placed onto the SIM card.
