How Can I Put Songs in Windows Media Player on My iPod?

Windows Media Player can easily move songs onto an iPod using the sync function. The sync process is used to transfer digital media files from the Windows Media Player music library onto a portable media device. This allows the files to be played back by the portable media device.

    Open Windows Media Player and click the "Sync" tab at the top right of the program screen.

    Turn on the iPod and connect it to the computer using a USB patch cord that came with the iPod.

    Choose automatic synchronising to have Windows Media Player transfer its entire library onto the iPod. Choose manual synchronising to select individual files to have transferred to the iPod.

    Click the "Start Sync" button to begin transferring using the sync method selected.
