Most browsers allow users to place a list of their favourite sites in a toolbar under the address and search bars. In Internet Explorer it is called the Favorites Toolbar and in Mozilla Firefox it is called the Bookmarks Toolbar. However, a user may accidentally hit the wrong keys or buttons and remove this bar from the browser menu. When this happens, the favourites list seems to vanish, but they can be restored at any time.
