These folded napkins are quite simple to create and easy enough that your children can help out. By taking some extra time to create cute folded napkin animals, you will be making inexpensive and easy decorations which will surely make a lasting impression on your guests.

Fold your napkin in half once to create a long rectangle. Fold it again to create a square. Rotate the square so it looks like a diamond.

Fold the bottom corner up to the centre of the napkin. Turn the napkin over.

Turn the right and left corners in to meet at the centre of the napkin. Turn the napkin over.

Fold the right and left corners at the top of the napkin in to meet at the middle. Pull the flaps out from underneath the napkin on each side. The flaps will be the elephant's ears. The pointed edge will be the elephant's trunk.

Fold in the top corners to round the elephant's head. Turn over.

If you would like the elephant to have eyes, use small pieces of black paper or confetti.
