Sync Center will help you connect your computer to other computers or mobile devices and manage these connections. As you regularly establish these connections, Sync Center will keep track of these processes and guide you through troubleshooting, if necessary. You can find Sync Center down in your taskbar at the bottom right corner of your desktop. Remove Sync Center from the taskbar by opening your Control Panel.
Open the "Control Panel" and click "Classic View" in the left column of the window.
Find the "Taskbar and Start Menu" icon and double-click this icon to open it.
Click the "Notification Area" tab at the top of the Properties window.
Place a check mark to the left of "Hide Inactive Icons" and then click the "Customize" button.
Scroll through the list to find the "Sync Center" icon and highlight it when you find it.
Click the arrow to the right of the icon to make the drop-down menu appear. Choose "Hide."
Click "OK" and then click "Apply" and then click "OK."
Close the "Control Panel" and check your taskbar. The Sync Center icon should be gone.
