Things you need
- Dell AX510 Sound Bar
- Dell UltraSharp or P Series Flat Panel Display monitor
- Headphones (optional)
Attach the speaker bar to the monitor. On the back of the Dell computer screen monitor, find the two square nooks where the speaker bar will fit. Locate the speaker bars corresponding protruding square pieces. Click the speaker bar into the monitor's slots until the bar is secure.
Connect the speaker to the computer. On the back of the computer, find the headphone icon that allows sound to come out of your computer. Locate the appropriate cable that came with the speaker bar.
Click the cable prong into the headphone input hole on the back of the monitor. On the back of the computer (the external rectangular box), locate the grey coloured hole with the icon of a speaker (this is an imput symbol, not the microphone). Connect the cable to the grey hole until it's snug.
Link the speaker to the adaptor. Plug the adaptor into a wall socket. The other end of that cable has a tube-shaped hole. Fit the speaker cable (connected to the monitor) into this hole. The monitor and computer are now attached to a wall power source.
Turn on the speaker. On the side of the computer monitor, rotate the knob that controls the volume. Rotate it clockwise until it clicks on and then increases sound.
If using headphones, connect the headphones to the speaker bar. When the speaker bar is connected and producing sound, plug your headphones into the speaker bar. A headphone icon will show you the corresponding hole. The speaker bar will give you high quality sound in your headphones.
