Vizio, a North American electronics manufacturer that specialises in home entertainment components, offers flat panel televisions that utilise a 16:9 aspect ratio that enables users to take advantage of high-definition widescreen programming. Vizio televisions can also stretch older 4:3 programming viewing angles to fit into the 16:9 viewing format. If you notice black bars on the sides of your Vizio television screen, you can change the configuration settings so that the picture fills the entire screen.
