Outlook 2007 is part of the Microsoft Office bundled suite of productivity software. Outlook itself is the email, address and schedule component of the suite. It contains a calendar, allows for schedule creation, and manages addresses, e-mail contacts and a to-do list. For the user who prefers a hard copy of these items, Outlook allows for printing from various components of the program. Because style matters in both business and personal life, you may find it necessary to change the way memos print. After all, what is suitable for business might not work for a bridal shower.
- Skill level:
Open your Outlook 2007 program by double-clicking on the Outlook icon on your desktop or selecting it from your task bar.
After Outlook opens, select an e-mail to print. You can do this by clicking anywhere within the email itself.
At the top of the page, click "File", then choose "Page Setup". This will give you a drop-down box with your printing style choices in it. Select the one you desire by clicking on it once with your mouse. Your choices include the default basic memo style. It's also possible to format the font styles and colour. If desired, you can even print your e-mails as a full page.
Print the email. After you have made your selections of e-mail and print style, click "File" at the top of the screen and then choose "Print." This will open your printer navigation screen and allow you to print the email in the style that you have chosen.
