Staple guns are a holiday "staple" used by many spirited decorators to secure festive lights and garlands to eaves and roof lines. The Arrow T50 staple gun is compatible with staples of several different lengths for a variety of uses. Unfortunately, a strip of staples will not last forever, and big jobs will require multiple strip replacements. However, Arrow made their stapler easy to use with a simple strip replacement system.

Remove the pusher rod from your Arrow T50 staple gun by pushing forward and down on the loading pressure plate. This will release the metal clasp, allowing the internal spring to extend the pusher rod.
Place a new staple strip on the pusher rod. The staples should be straddling the rod with the tips aimed at the ground.
Insert the pusher rod back into the stapler until the clasp clicks into place. Ensure that the staples' tips are pointing toward the flat bottom of the stapler.
Check the clasp by jiggling the loading pressure plate. If the plate does not move, the clasp is securely fastened.
