Having the ability to find an AOL IP address could be the difference between stopping a spammer and continuing to receive e-mail you do not want. Having less spam means you do not have to spend the time deleting it or trying to figure out who is sending it. Spam can cost you both time and money, because while you spend time dealing with it, you could be working and making money. Once you have the ability to find the IP address, you can put a stop to it by reporting the spammer.
