How do I donate clothing or other goods to the Salvation Army?

The Salvation Army is an international charitable organisation that currently provides help to people in need in 118 different countries. Its international headquarters are in London, but it maintains facilities all over the world. The Salvation Army is always interested in donations. You can find out how to donate clothing or other goods by visiting its website.

Schedule a pickup

Go to the Salvation Army's UK website (see Resources).

Click on the territory in which you live on the map. The Salvation Army in the U.S. is divided into four categories: Western, Eastern, Midwest and Southern.

Have your clothing and other goods picked up by the Salvation Army by selecting "Schedule a Pickup."

Enter in your zip code to see if the local facility picks up donations in your area. You can also call the local facility at 1-800-SA-TRUCK to schedule a pickup by phone.

Go to SalvationArmy.org and select the country in which you reside.

Find a local centre to drop off your donations by entering your zip code under "Find a Center." Select one of the centres listed.

Call or visit the facility's personal website to find out more specifics about whether or not it accepts donations at that particular location, as well as what the drop-off times are.
