If you want to check the wireless card in your Acer laptop computer and see if it's working properly, you'll have to open a program in Windows called the Device Manager.

Right-click on "Computer."
Click "Device Manager."
Scroll down to the "Network Adapters" category heading in the main Device Manager window. Click on the "+" to the left of the word "Network Adapters."
Right-click on the listing for "Wireless Network Adapter." This will be your Acer laptop computer's wireless card. Click "Properties" to bring up its specific device properties page.
