Turn on the television you want to control with your Charter digital remote.
Look for your TV's device code in the user manual that came with your cable box. If you lost or misplaced the manual, visit Charter's website to look up your device code.
Press and hold the "TV" key on the top of the remote until it blinks once. After it blinks once, release the key.
Press and hold the "SET UP" key on the remote until the "TV" key blinks twice.
Enter the five-digit code for your TV. The "TV" key blinks twice once your TV has been properly synchronised with your remote.
Aim the remote control at your TV and press the "Power" button on the remote. The TV should turn off. Your Charter digital remote now controls your TV.
