Slipper socks are effective for keeping your feet toasty in style. Choose the funkiest and most colourful socks you can find and make them into slipper socks using puffy fabric paint. Once the fabric paint dries on the soles of the slipper socks, it will provide a skidproof sole that is ideal for the bottom of slippers. Start and finish this no-sew project in less than one hour.

Things you need
- Sturdy cardboard
- Puffy fabric paint (various colours)
Stand in your bare feet on a piece of cardboard and, using a pencil, trace around your feet onto the cardboard. This will provide you with outlined patterns of your feet.
Cut out the patterns with the scissors.
Insert the cardboard patterns into the socks and push them down into the foot portion of the socks to fill out them out and make it easier to apply the puffy fabric paint.
Turn the socks over so the soles of the socks are facing up. Apply the puffy fabric paint to the soles of the socks. Make squiggly lines, polka dots, geometric shapes, zigzag lines or even write out words with the fabric paint. Cover the soles of the socks liberally with the fabric paint.
Leave the socks with the soles facing up. Allow the puffy fabric paint on the soles to dry for 24 to 48 hours. Consult the puffy paint packaging for specific drying instructions.
Remove the cardboard patterns from the insides of the socks after the drying time has elapsed.
