How to Troubleshoot My Kodak Easy Share Printer Dock

Updated February 21, 2017

The Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock allows you to skip the step of transferring photos from your digital camera to your computer before printing. Instead, simply place your camera on the printer dock and print photos directly from your camera. Some of the common problems that can occur with the Kodak Easyshare Printer Dock are paper feeding issues and difficulties with the printer cartridge.

Remove the paper supply from the printer dock. Fan the paper using your fingers to ensure that individual sheets are not stuck together. Put the paper back into the paper tray.

Unplug the printer dock, and remove the paper tray. Use a damp cloth to clean the surface of the paper-feed rollers, rolling them as you clean. Allow the rollers to dry completely before reinserting the paper tray and reconnecting the power.

Eject jammed paper by unplugging the printer dock for 10 seconds, then plugging it back in. Remove the paper that ejects from the rear of the dock.

Remove and reinsert the printer cartridge. Press "Print."

Remove the cartridge a second time, and clean the cartridge sensor with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth if you still get an error message.

Reinstall the cartridge, and push "Print."

Warning

The printer cartridge cannot be removed if there is a paper jam. If the cartridge seems locked, ensure that there is no paper jam before attempting to remove it.
