The Fuji FinePix 2650 digital camera has several features that allow the user to take high-quality photographs. One of the benefits of the FinePix 2650 is that it has automatic settings that allow users to take quality pictures out of the box. After a short setup process, which requires installing the battery and the memory card, you are ready to start taking and reviewing photographs.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 AA batteries
  • xD-Picture Card
  1. Step 1

Turn the camera over so the bottom is facing up and slide the battery compartment cover out and pull up to expose the battery compartment. Place two AA batteries in the compartment.

  2. Step 2

Insert a xD-Picture Card into the slot next to the batteries and press down until you hear a click. The contacts of the picture card should face the back of the camera. Close the battery compartment when it is inserted.

  3. Step 3

Turn the mode dial on the top of the camera to the symbol of a still picture camera, slide the lens cover to the left and press the "Power" switch to the right to start the camera.

  4. Step 4

Point the camera at the subject of the picture and frame the shot in the viewfinder window or on the LCD screen. You can zoom in and out by toggling the "Zoom" button up and down. The "Zoom" button is located in the upper right corner on the back of the camera.

  5. Step 5

Press the shutter button halfway to allow the camera to focus on the subject. When the subject is focused you will hear a beep.

  6. Step 6

Press the shutter button fully when you hear the beep to take the photograph.

  7. Step 7

Review the photographs shot with your camera by turning the "Mode" switch to ">." The last photograph you took will appear on the screen.

  8. Step 8

Scroll through your images with the right and left arrow buttons, located next to the "Zoom" button.

  9. Step 9

Delete images by pressing the "Menu/OK" button and choosing "Frame" to delete the selected photograph or "All Frames" to delete all stored photographs. Press the "Menu/OK" button to confirm deleting the images.
