Checking your Sprint PCS (Personal Communication Services) voicemail is quick and easy, even if it's your first time doing so. Instead of giving customers a generic access number to call, Sprint connects a user's voicemail account with their telephone number. If you have never used your Sprint PCS voicemail before, please see the Tips section before beginning. You can also check your Sprint PCS voicemail from any other telephone besides your cell phone (as long as it's a touch-tone phone).

Press and hold the "1" button on your keypad for approximately three seconds, until your phone begins dialing voicemail. This is the voicemail shortcut for all Sprint phones.

Enter your four-digit passcode at the prompt "Please enter your passcode", and then press the "#" key.

Listen to your new message(s). Any new messages will automatically begin playing. To delete a message after listening to it, press "7" on your keypad; to save a message, press "9."

Dial your Sprint telephone number. Wait until the voicemail greeting begins.

Press the "Star" symbol (*) on the telephone.

Enter your four-digit passcode, and then press the "#" symbol on the telephone.

Tips and warnings
- You can also access your voicemail system (from your Sprint phone) through the "Messaging" menu. Navigate to "Messaging," and then choose "Voicemail."
- If you are checking your Sprint voicemail for the first time, you'll be prompted to enter a four-digit passcode, as part of your voicemail activation. This procedure must be done on your Sprint phone.
