How to Copy & Paste Contacts to a Yahoo Email Contact List

In addition to allowing you to send and receive electronic mail messages, your Yahoo! e-mail account also allows you to keep track of the email addresses of those you frequently communicate with. This is called your "Contact" list. If you want to import contact information into your Yahoo! account, you can copy and paste them from whatever other e-mail account you use.

    Open your web browser.

    Go to Yahoo.com. Click "Sign In" to log into your Yahoo.com e-mail address.

    Click "Address Book" to bring up your Yahoo e-mail address contact information.

    Click the "Add Contact" button.

  5. 5

    Highlight the address book information you want to copy into Yahoo from within whichever program you previously used to keep track of your contact information. Right-click on the highlighted text and click "Copy." Then, right-click on the Yahoo contact box you have open on screen and click "Paste."
