Transferring your contacts from your BlackBerry to Outlook provides you with an additional backup in case something goes wrong.

Instructions

    Connect the BlackBerry device to your PC using the USB cable. This also opens the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

    Choose the "Synchronize" option on the Desktop Manager.

  3. 3

    Choose "Configure," then click on "Contacts, Calendars, Notes and Tasks."

  4. 4

    Choose "Outlook" for your contacts.

  5. 5

    Click "OK" on each window you opened, then click "Synchronize" to sync your data.
