How to Transfer Contacts From BlackBerry to Outlook

Updated February 21, 2017

Because BlackBerry phones are a de facto standard in work and business, they include the ability to sync information from Microsoft Outlook, such as e-mail, tasks, calendar scheduling and contacts. Transferring your contacts from your BlackBerry to Outlook provides you with an additional backup in case something goes wrong.

Connect the BlackBerry device to your PC using the USB cable. This also opens the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

Choose the "Synchronize" option on the Desktop Manager.

Choose "Configure," then click on "Contacts, Calendars, Notes and Tasks."

Choose "Outlook" for your contacts.

Click "OK" on each window you opened, then click "Synchronize" to sync your data.
