In addition to controlling the battery power, power plans can control screen brightness. Locate and click the battery icon on the right side of your Toshiba laptop's taskbar.
Click "More Power Options" in the pop-up window.
Locate the "Power Saver" power plan and click the "Change Plan Settings" link located to the right of the plan name.
Click "Save Changes" to save your new configuration.
