How do I load iTunes onto a memory stick?

Updated February 21, 2017

Music downloaded from the iTunes store can be stored on any device that is able to store files, such as USB flash drives and memory sticks. Once transferred, you are able to copy the files from the storage device to another computer. Because of the small size of the memory stick, you can only put between 2 to 16 GB of information on most memory sticks. To protect your information, be sure to keep the memory stick in safe place to avoid accidental physical damage.

Insert the memory stick into your computer's USB port.

Click "Start," "All Programs" and "Windows Explorer." Go to your iTunes music folder, and drag and drop the files to the memory stick icon located on the sidebar.

Right-click the memory stick icon on the sidebar, and select "Disconnect" from the pop-up menu.

Remove the memory stick from the memory card reader and store in a case or safe place.
