The Toshiba Tecra 8000, released in 1998, includes a 266MHz Pentium II processor and very little storage by today's standards in its default configuration. If you are using this laptop, it is likely that you have considered upgrading it, and a hardware upgrade generally means that you will need to make modifications to the BIOS configuration of the computer.
