How to Make a Computer Monitor Wireless

Written by ts jordan | 13/05/2017

Aside from the random errors and ever-looming threat of hardware failures, one of the biggest problems with computers is the clutter. Streamlining your computer installation by removing unnecessary wires can help to keep your home looking more modern and clean. One way to do this is to utilise a wireless connector. Once installed, you can do away with the monitor cables running from your monitor to the computer tower.

Insert the CD that came with your wireless monitor adaptor into the computer and press the "Install" button. This will install the needed software and drivers to make the connection work.

Turn off your computer.

Connect the broadcasting end of the adaptor to the video card port on the back of your computer, where your monitor cable used to be.

Attach the receiver to a port on the back of your monitor.

Turn on your computer.

Open the "Start" menu, go to "All Programs," open the software for your particular model of wireless adaptor, and input your required settings (such as resolution).
